Olga was born in Minsk, on the 26th of March, just one day before the International Theatre Day. As her mother often likes to recall, the baby was born right on time to prepare herself for this important celebration. Who knows, maybe that was one of the factors that lead her to choose her future profession... Acting was a skill she honed as a child, as she started her career at the early age of five. Her mom literally carried her to the auditions of the movie "Jurka — the Son Commander" while she was buying toying around in a children´s playground. Upset at first, the little child ended up winning the lead role thus convincing film-maker Nikolaj Lukjanov, who was literally blown away by her natural talents...
Then came school, and all the interests and hobbies she grew up with: music, painting, martial arts, history, foreign languages (English, French, Italian and Polish) and, most of all, her biggest passion, ballet dancing. She was fortunate to meet well renowned ballerinas as Nina Semiletnikova and Ludmila Brzhozovskaya, who taught her the secrets of ballet. But, since she started late, at the age of 13 she was too "old" to pursue her passion, so she decided to abandon her ballet studies and save them as a useful skill in an acting career, her mom suggesting that they would one day come at hand in her future profession.
After graduating from her theatre school, where she was taught by Valentina Moroz and Nina Voronezkaja, Olga enrolled into a State University to study psychology. Still, she kept going to auditions and ended up accepting offers to play on stage. Her passion for film and theatre was far from dead... Later, Olga joined Monakova´s acting studio at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts in Minsk where she studied alongside popular stage teachers like Ilja Kurgan, and Nikolaj Kirichenko. Upon graduating in 2003, Olga joined the Theatre "Yunnyi Zritel", under artistic director Natalia Basheva. Soon after that Olga moved to Rome, and currently follows her acting career in places like Minsk, Rome, Paris and Buenos Aires... |
